This is a huge industry that hasn't evolved in decades, but that's changing. Frontier AI makes it possible to automate large parts of legal and compliance work with much better speed, consistency, and cost.

We are building AI agents to modernize the infrastructure of commerce and accelerate economic productivity. We are a lean ex-Ramp team building in person in NYC, with real customers, fast feedback loops, and a lot left to build.

You will be one of the first engineers at Arca. You will work across the stack, own systems from zero to one, talk to customers, and make decisions that shape the product and codebase for years.

• Own and architect core systems: document ingestion, permissions, agent orchestration, collaborative review, evals, and the infrastructure underneath it
• Ship full-stack features end-to-end, from database schema to API to UI
• Build AI-native product experiences
• Make technical decisions that hold up as we scale
• Work directly with customers and turn what you learn into product direction and shipped code
• Mentor future engineers and raise the quality bar across the codebase

• Experience working at an early stage high growth startup
• Experience working across the full stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure, LLMs
• You've been obsessively good at something: academics, sports, poker, music, writing, startups, sales, research, or anything else. You know what it feels like to chase excellence
